How does it work?
Yoni steaming works by applying moisture and gentle heat that contain medicinal plant oils to the external tissues of the vaginal area. The moist heat increases circulation n the vulva. Tissue in the vaginal area are very porous allowing the medicinal herbs to absorb into your reproductive organs. Just take distilled water and pour it in a stainless steel, glass or ceramic pot. Place a cup of herbs into the water then bring it to a boil. Let it cool down to a comfortable enough temperature as to not burn the skin. Place bowl inside steam chair. Remove your clothes from the waist down or even completely. Squat or sit over your steam bowl. Wrap your waist in a large blanket or robe to contain the steam. Put on some warm socks or slippers and find a quit place to relax and steam for about 20 minutes.
This is a perfects time to relax, write in your journal, meditate or set some intentions. After you are finished lie down for about an hour if possible. Its all about self care so don’t rush it.
